Happy Thanksgiving

The world's a huge stockpile of God-wonders and God-thoughts. Nothing and no one comes close to you! I start talking about you, telling what I know, and quickly run out of words. Neither numbers nor words account for you.
~Psalm 40:5, The Message

We're about to leave for Bayou Goula (outside of Baton Rouge) for the day. Doug's (great) Aunt LaLa and Uncle Martin live in an old sugar cane plantation there. Lots of extended family will gather for the big meal in the afternoon. We'll be back tonight in time for a long quiet weekend at home--just the four of us!

Happy Thanksgiving to all ...

P.S. Dad, what a different yet neat translation of the family verse, huh? Thanks for that. I've been reminded of it often this past week.
