What a fun trip we had to Pennsylvania ... it was great to be at my parents' house for a little longer than just the weekend of the Joy's wedding. Being there early allowed the boys and I to meet Uncle Terry and the new cousins in their home in Turbotville. It felt like a privilege to get a glimpse of what life after the wedding would look like for this blended family of six. I couldn't have asked for more for my sister. She's waited a long time to join the ranks of the "married", and God has prepared her for this man and his family. If you know any of their fairytale story, it's so obvious that God has been faithful to both of them in allowing their paths to cross. There's no doubt in my mind that He will indeed continue to be faithful to the Stauffer family as they adjust to life together.
Even though we were exhausted after the trip, March 22nd was a day that our family will remember as a highlight of 2009. God is indeed faithful and amazingly loving in His plans for our lives.
