Hurricane Dean

We're tracking our new foe in the Caribbean. From the local news I've watched, it sounds like evacuation for us (if necessary) will be declared by tomorrow night. Right now, Louisiana is not in the huge cone, but we're certainly not counting on being bypassed. A category 4 storm is a huge threat to anyone in its path. Dean has 150mph winds and will enter the Gulf late Monday night or early Tuesday morning. Our governor has declared a state of emergency as our local people start preparing for everything.

EDIT: No need to go anywhere ... the westward path looks certain.

  1. We've been thinking about you all... We'll be checking your blog for any updates. There have been 3 deaths in the village of Campbell in Dominica, where Berean planted a church.
