The twist surrounding the Manning family and New Orleans is quite ironic. Peyton (Colts QB) Manning was a quarterback for another NOLA school while Doug was in high school. Peyton and Eli's dad Archie Manning was one of THE most amazing Saints players of all-time. Funny how "the one" every long-time Saints fan knows now has to choose who to root for on Sunday night ... his son or his beloved hometown's team. Oh, the drama. Not surprisingly, Saints fans have often rooted for the Mannings when their team dropped out of the playoffs. So IF a Saints fan gave temporary allegiance to another team at all, it probably has been for the Colts. I love the drama ... the tension ... although I am going to miss watching football this weekend.
