The dying of the eggs

Luckily, I make deviled eggs often, so having two dozen hard-boiled eggs is not a problem for me to use, especially this weekend. Here's some snaps from our evening ... the boys were pretty into it. They liked having their own set of cups to keep those eggs going.

Eli sat nearby with a couple plastic eggs for awhile. His turn will come next year.

Sam was pretty interested in trying to make different colors. By accident, he created this one that matched his shirt perfectly.

Zach was pretty intense with his method of placement. He made some cool "fireworks" eggs because he dropped a couple.

I wanted them to show their blue fingers but the pic ended up looking a little hokey ... the finished products. And to top our evening off, we enjoyed some homemade chocolate ice cream from my very cool Cuisinart ice cream maker.
