We finally found a kite (Walmart is out of stock?!) yesterday so Sam and I tried flew it today. I think Sam did better than I did. He had a blast! He had a couple good flights and I actually caught one on film. Hooray! Of course, the higher ground on the levee allowed us for lots of great ups! Sam is donning his first Bandaid since we drew a little blood on the knee as we were racing to keep it up in the air. Zach got pretty bored just sitting in the stroller watching until Sam handed him a twig which he promptly stuck in his mouth! Good stuff. It's just the three of us this weekend as Doug and three other hs guys are in Houston visiting an evacuated senior and taking in an Astros game.
